DIY: USB stick with model car (Post sponsored by Volkswagen)

Whether at university, at school or for lectures at events, sometimes you need a USB stick quickly. However, most sticks aren’t particularly attractive, which is why we’ve decided to individualise and pep up our USB stick together with Volkswagen. This makes work much more fun and you won’t confuse your USB stick with those of your colleagues. Practical yet stylish!

So geht’s:

How to do it:
First, choose a model car. We decided on a Volkswagen Polo on a scale of 1:87. This means that the car is really small so that it can also be easily stored.

Then try out which USB stick fits onto your model car. We chose a very flat USB stick, which fit perfectly between the tyres of the small car. Then attach the USB stick to the bottom of the car. You can use adhesive tape or superglue for this. Some USB sticks also have a small hole at the back, which you could also use to screw on the USB stick. Just make sure that the car USB stick can be easily inserted into the USB port of your computer later.

As soon as the USB stick is attached, you’ve finished and your new car USB stick is ready to use. It’s best to carry the car stick in a small pouch, so that you can enjoy it for a long time. We hope you have fun creating your USB stick! Of course, we used ours right away. As part of our cooperation with Volkswagen, several DIY tutorials have already been developed.
